DENVER – A man is dead and two suspects are on the run following an armed robbery in southeast Denver early Saturday morning.
Officers with the Denver Police Department responded to the scene at E. Girard Avenue and S. Oneida Way at around 3:30 a.m. on reports of a shooting.
About three hours later, at around 7:10 a.m., police said the victim in the shooting, only identified as an adult male, had died at the hospital.
“Preliminary indication is this homicide occurred during a robbery involved 2 male suspects,” an official with the police department said in a tweet.
Investigators are working to develop descriptions of both suspects.
