LAKEWOOD, Colo. – A man in Lakewood was killed following a robbery early Friday afternoon, police said.
Officers were called to an Ulta Beauty store located at 489 S. Wadsworth Blvd. for reports of a robbery in progress at around 1:56 p.m. Friday.
When agents arrived, several suspects fled the scene at a high rate of speed in a red Mitsubishi Galant before eventually crashing into a silver Honda Civic near the intersection of 1st and Harlan.
The suspect car’s driver and two other suspects were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The driver of a Honda Civic, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither the suspects nor the deceased driver have been identified at this time. The investigation is on-going investigation.
