DENVER – The man accused of cutting the throat of a man at a West Highlands pub now faces attempted murder charges.
The Denver District Attorney’s Office formally charged Anthony Ealy, 46, with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and crime of violence Monday.
Ealy, who lived at a nearby assisted living center, is accused of walking into Mead St. Station at slitting the man’s throat as he sat at the bar. Ealy had been drinking at the bar earlier in the day.
He remains jailed on a $150,000 bond and is next scheduled in court Wednesday for his second advisement.
