COSTILLA COUNTY, Colo. – Authorities are looking for a man accused of raping a child in New Mexico who they say could be in southern Colorado.

Raymond M. Hernandez, 29, has been charged with molesting two children and battering a third in the small town of Peñasco, NM, over the last two weeks, a spokesperson for the Costilla County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Saturday.

Authorities said Hernandez was still wanted for allegedly raping a third child as of Friday morning.

Deputies said he is known to be in the area near the Town of San Luis, in southern Colorado.
