BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A 52-year-old man was arrested after a fire significantly damaged a home early Tuesday morning. Investigators suspect arson was the cause.

The fire broke out after a disturbance between two people inside a home in the 1300 block of Tipperary Street, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.

Fredrick Faerron-Crocket was arrested by deputies and booked into the Boulder County Jail for first-degree arson, second-degree arson, felony menacing, and felony criminal mischief.

The residence suffered significant damage -- spreading throughout the home -- but wasn't a total loss, the sheriff’s office said. No injuries were reported.

The American Red Cross was contacted and provided the victims with hotel lodging.

The Boulder County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the fire. Detectives executed a search warrant later in the day.
