PARKER, Colo. – Police said they booked one man into jail in connection with a deadly stabbing that happened Sunday evening in Parker.

Kyle Alexander Gingles, 23, faces investigation on second-degree murder and first-degree assault charges after his Sunday arrest. Police say the stabbing happened just before 7 p.m. Sunday in the 8400 block of Rabbitbrush Way during a fight.

When police arrived, they found the man on the ground. He was transported to an area hospital, where he died. The man has not been identified.

Police said witnesses reported two suspects had fled the scene and police went to their home that night and took them into custody.

Gingles was booked for investigation on the murder and assault charges, and the second suspect was later released “pending further investigation,” Parker police said.

Police spokesman Josh Hans said the incidents that led to the stabbing remain under investigation and asked anyone with more information to contact Detective Brukbacher at 303-805-6523 or at sbrukbacher@parkeronline.org.
