WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Police in Westminster have arrested a man accused of exposing himself to a female runner on a city trail.

Michael Kellogg, 29, was taken into custody Wednesday in connection with an incident on Big Dry Creek Trail May 22.

The victim said she was running east on the trail west of US 36 when she came upon Kellogg who allegedly touched himself inappropriately and began to run after her, according to a release from the Westminster Police Department.

As the suspect began toward her, the victim yelled out to two other runners in the area and called police, the release read. Police said Kellogg took off soon after.

When police arrived, officers contacted a male subject who matched the description given to them by the victim. After reviewing cameras in the area of the trail, Kellogg was identified as the suspect and arrested on the charge of indecent exposure.
