LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Police in Lakewood are looking for a man witnesses say was masturbating near and in an apartment pool last month.
It happened Sept. 17, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. at the Ashford Belmar Apartments, 7301 West Ohio Avenue, in Lakewood.
According to a Wednesday release from the Lakewood Police Department, the man was sitting in a chair across the pool with his shirt pulled over his knees and his arms tucked in the shirt.
Witnesses say the man was masturbating while sitting in his chair at the pool, and later, in the pool as well. The suspect’s genitals were also displayed, police said.
According to police, the man took off running when one of the witnesses confronted him and asked him to stop. He was later seen walking northbound through the apartment complex.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male of darker complexion, 5’8”-6’0” feet tall, very thin, bald, wearing red shirt and black “boxer brief” shorts.
The suspect was carrying a tan backpack at the pool and was last seen wearing a lime green polo shirt with horizontal blue stripes and baggy dark blue jeans when leaving the pool area.
