LAKEWOOD, Colo. — An employee at Mount View Youth Services Center in Lakewood was arrested on suspicion of possessing several images of child pornography.

Joseph Forrest, 49, was arrested Thursday by detectives with the Lakewood Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit.

Police said Forrest likely stored the alleged child pornography images on his Twitter account. Investigators worked with the technology company and the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children in this case, according to a department release.

Lakewood police confirmed to Denver7 that Forrest is an employee at Mount View Youth Services Center, but his position or current status is unknown.

It’s not clear if any of the alleged crimes occurred at the center.
