WELD COUNTY, Colo. – A Hudson man was arrested Thursday on child pornography charges, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
Terry Wayne Sluiter, 53, was arrested after investigators received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about possible child pornography being uploaded online.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Sluiter’s home and took electronic equipment that will be forensically examined, according to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said that during an interview with an investigator, Sluiter admitted to possessing child porn. After the interview, investigators found more than 100 images containing child pornography, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said.
The suspect was taken to the Weld County North Jail Complex on charges of sexual exploitation of a child, a class 4 felony.
It’s unclear if Sluiter has been assigned an attorney or a public defender in this case.
