Fugitive Friday: Aurora bank robbery suspect sought by FBI, police

AURORA, Colo. – Police and the FBI are asking for help identifying a man who robbed a TCF Bank branch Wednesday afternoon in Aurora.

The branch that was hit was located in the 15000 block of E. 6th Avenue.

Aurora police say that man walked into the bank at 4:42 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash.

After making off with an unknown amount, he fled the bank on foot, headed eastbound.

The man was approximately 5-foot-9 tall, with a medium build and scruffy beard, according to police. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a t-shirt with a Gas Monkey logo on it, dark pants and sunglasses.

People who call through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 if the suspect is caught and prosecuted.
