DENVER – A driver was arrested by Denver police following a short chase in southwest Denver early Saturday.
Police said officers spotted a car that was involved in an earlier incident and when they tried to stop him, the driver evaded police.
The chase went on for about nine minutes and ended near Bellevue and University, when police used the PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle.
In a PIT maneuver, an officer drives up behind a car on one side and hits its tail end, causing it to spin out.
An adult male was taken into custody.
Denver7 was not immediately able to confirm what the driver was wanted for or if there was speeding involved in this case.
