DENVER – A woman was shot and killed near 46th and Ceylon in Denver around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and police were still looking for a suspect as of 9 p.m.
The shooting happened in the 19000 block of E 46th Ave. and was initially called in as a death investigation. Shortly before 9 p.m., police said the death was being treated as a homicide.
Denver police said the victim was a woman and that it had no suspect in custody, but did not release further information.
