DENVER – Police served search warrants at three gaming businesses Tuesday and took three people into custody on gaming-related charges.

Denver police said the raids were part of an ongoing investigation, which also involves the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, that started 11 months ago into what have been called illegal gambling establishments.

The three stores raided in Denver were El Dorado, La Fortuna and American Pride. The identities of the three people taken into custody were not released Tuesday.

American Pride and La Fortuna were also raided last year, along with one in Evans, another in Colorado Springs and three businesses in Pueblo.
