DENVER — Police in Denver released a sketch Friday of a man they say sexually assaulted four women in separate nighttime incidents in the Lower Downtown area between April 2017 and December of this year.

Police say the circumstances of the incidents vary, but in general, the suspect initiated contact with women who were alone and were arranging or waiting for a ride, offered the victims transportation and later sexually assaulted them. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a sedan.

Police are concerned that the man may have targeted additional women and encourage victims to come forward.

“This composite sketch is a new lead in this investigation, and we ask anyone who recognizes this man to contact the Denver Police Department immediately so that we can prevent him from harming anyone else,” said Division Chief of Investigations Joseph Montoya in a news release.

Community members can submit tips regarding this suspect or investigation to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867, where they can remain anonymous.
