DENVER -- The Denver Police Department found no bomb after searching a Denny's restaurant Wednesday evening.

Officers released little information as to the nature of their investigation, only saying the possible bomb threat was taking place at the Denny's in the area of East 40th Avenue and the I-70 off-ramp to Peoria Street.

The building was evacuated but no streets were affected due to the possible bomb threat, police said.

Just before 11 p.m., officers reported they had found nothing at the scene.

The report came just past 10 p.m.
