DENVER – Police in Denver are investigating the death of a juvenile as a homicide.
Officers responded to the area of S. Federal Blvd. between W. Louisiana Ave. and W. Florida Ave. just before 7 p.m. and said they were investigating a death in the area.
Just before 7:30 p.m., officials updated the public via Twitter, and said the death was now being investigated as a homicide and that the victim was a juvenile. The juvenile, who was first dropped off at an urgent care center and later taken to a hospital, was declared deceased.

Police said investigators were working to determine the circumstances surrounding the juvenile’s death as well as the location of where the incident occurred.
