FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Colorado State University claims a former professor had a history of troubling behavior before she filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the school.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports the university filed a motion for summary judgment Monday, seeking for a judge to rule that the suit filed by Christina Boucher has no merit.

Boucher sued the university last year, claiming she was denied tenure and forced to resign after she reported a co-worker had sexually harassed her.

The university has denied any wrongdoing. It claims supervisors raised questions about Boucher's behavior and future at the school before her complaints.

Boucher says the university's claims are "just the next step in their relentless campaign of retaliation." She says she will have a legal response filed by next month.
