BOULDER, Colo. – Police are looking for help in identifying a man who is a person of interest in the rape of a woman, who has no recollection of the incident, in early May.

The sexual assault happened sometime between 11:30 p.m. on May 13 and 7 a.m. on May 14.

The rape victim says she was at the Walrus Saloon on 11th Street that night, and ordered a water at the bar.

But she has no idea what happened afterward; she woke up on the couch of a home near Boulder High School the next morning, not knowing where she was or what took place overnight.

Police are looking for a man last seen interacting with the woman that night at the bar.

They have released a composite sketch of the man, as well as a blurry surveillance image of a man seen walking with the victim just before 1 a.m. the morning of May 14.

Both the man seen in the sketch and the man caught on surveillance video are considered persons of interest in the sexual assault, police say. They say it’s unclear if the man in the sketch and the man captured on video are the same man.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Detective Kara Wills at 303-441-3482 or Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
