COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found along Fountain Creek in Colorado Springs Sunday morning.
Colorado Springs Police Department officials were notified of a deceased male in the area of East Fountain Boulevard and Wahsatch Avenue at around 10:22 a.m.
Once at the scene, police found the deceased man lying along the bank of Fountain Creek as it passes under the bridge near that intersection.
The investigation is ongoing, and officers said it will likely have the westbound lanes of the 400 block of East Fountain Boulevard closed until about 7 p.m. Sunday.
