Authorities identify man found dead in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Colo. — Authorities have identified the body of a man who was found dead in Jackson County on May 30.

Dustin Bryant, 42, of Wheat Ridge was discovered near milepost 27 along Colorado Highway 125, near the trailhead for Snyder Creek Loop. A passerby found the body near the road.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said Bryant's death is believed to be a homicide. Detectives are still investigating the case.

The sheriff's office said they are receiving tips "here and there" from the community about this case, and the undersheriff is investigating them.
