UPDATE on Thursday at 10:46 p.m.: Cheyenne Police say the child and the suspect have been found in Aurora. The boy is safe and the suspect is in custody. The Amber Alert has been deactivated.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities are looking for a man suspected of abducting an infant in southern Wyoming.

Cheyenne police say 26-year-old Mijito Johnson is thought to have taken 1-year-old Gregory Marks from a location in the northern part of the city Thursday afternoon. Johnson is the boy's non-custodial father.

An Amber Alert has been issued, and police are on the lookout for a 2004 silver Ford Expedition with a temporary plate and a broken rear passenger side window. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says it's possible the man is traveling through the state.
