DENVER – Police in Denver are investigating two separate shootings in the city’s Lincoln Park neighborhood Sunday that left one dead and two wounded.
The first shooting occurred in the 700 block of South Umatilla Street, according to DPD tweet sent at 3:05 a.m. Sunday.
Two adult males sustained non-life threatening injuries. Both victims were treated at a local hospital. No arrests were made.
Around 12:30 p.m., police tweeted they were investigating a second shooting in the 1000 block of West 14th Avenue.
An adult male was shot and killed in the second shooting. No suspect information was released.
Police have not said if the two shootings are connected.
