DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating a double shooting on the city’s west side Friday afternoon.
The Denver Police Department tweeted that two people were shot around 2:45 p.m. near West 14th Avenue and Federal Boulevard in the West Colfax neighborhood.
Paramedics transported one victim to the hospital. The second victim was found a short time later and taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
Police have not released suspect information at this time. Details as to what led to the shooting are unknown.
Police have closed West 14th Avenue west of Federal Boulevard while they investigate.
