AURORA, Colo. — Police in Aurora are looking for a suspect or suspects after a shooting and fight that seriously wounded three juveniles Tuesday.

The shooting happened around noon at Norfolk Glen Park located at 15800 East 17th Place. The three juvenile victims were transported to the hospital where they're being treated. Their conditions are unknown.

Aurora police said two of the juveniles were shot and one was assaulted. The department tweeted that the shooting likely "stemmed from an altercation" but said the investigation was ongoing.

Police are searching the area for the suspects and possible evidence. Officer Crystal McCoy said K-9s are being used as officers canvassed the neighborhood.

Investigators say they are interviewing several witnesses as they try to piece together the events that led to the shooting. A large group of juveniles was gathered at the park before the shooting, McCoy said.

A description of the suspects was not available. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 911.
