2 dead in separate overnight shootings in Denver

DENVER — Two men died in separate overnight shootings in Denver, police said.

The first shooting happened shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday. Denver police said they had started investigating a shooting near the intersection of E. Green Valley Ranch Parkway and Memphis Street.

Around 4:30 a.m. Thursday, police said that one man had died in the shooting and a second man was in critical condition.

Police began investigating a second shooting around 11 p.m. on Wednesday along the 1700 block of Ulster Street. One man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No other details were available on these shootings. This story will be updated as we get more information.
