ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. – A person has been killed and another was hospitalized after what authorities called “violence at a home” in Adams County over the weekend.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to the home at 6798 Irving Street at around 11 a.m. Saturday.

Sgt. Jim Moregn, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, could not say how the victims were killed or injured, what kind of weapon (if any) was used, nor was he able to provide any identifiable information of the people involved.

Morgen did not know the condition of the person who was hospitalized.

“We just don’t have any motive at this time,” Morgen told Denver7.

A Denver7 photojournalist at the scene said he saw crime scene investigators still at the home on Sunday, hauling out a large amount of evidence including chairs, a table, doors, as well as several brown paper bags.

No other information was immediately available.
