The Manitou Incline is temporarily closed while medical personnel and the El Paso County Sheriff's Office look into the cause of someone's death.
Officials believe a person had a medical emergency while climbing up the Incline.
The Incline and Barr Trail is expected to re-open once officials recover the body.
The sheriff's office said the death is not considered suspicious or criminal in nature.
