Crews continue to fight a wildland fire not far from the Royal Gorge.

According to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the fire was first reported at 3:37 p.m. It is burning on BLM Royal Gorge Field Office lands in the Grand Canyon Hills area, approximately four miles southwest of Cañon City.

Fire officials are giving an update Thursday morning. News5 will stream this online and on Facebook scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.

The last update came at 10 p.m. Wednesday, estimating the fire at 120 acres. No structures are threatened at this time.

Multiple resources are working the fire, including air and hand crews. Two single-engine air tankers (SEATs), 2 Large Air Tankers (LATs), and helicopters are assisting ground crews.

The BLM said additional resources have been ordered, including a Hotshot crew and a Type 2 Initial Attack hand crew.

According to the BLM the fire has been dubbed the YMCA Fire. There are no reports at this time on the cause of blaze.

Officials are asking the resident do not call 911 or the Fremont County Sheriff's Office to report smoke.
