Update: The Colorado Springs Police Department posted Monday morning that Kimberly Peterson has been located.
The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for help locating an at-risk adult last seen New Year's Day.
Police said 37-year-old Kimberly Peterson went to the hospital for stomach pains on Jan. 1.
Her assisted living center and the hospital she visited had arranged transportation for Peterson, but she instead walked away from the hospital.
She was last seen wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the department at 719-444-7000.
