LITTLETON, Colo. -- An amazing transformation is almost complete at the home of a Littleton woman who was in desperate need of a new roof. It's been nearly a month since Denver7 introduced viewers to Michelle McNamara and showed the problems she's been having with her roof.

The response to her story was immediate. Some viewers donated money and several local businesses stepped in to volunteer their services. McNamara's roof was repaired last week but the work isn't done yet. A company called Restoration 1 of Central Denver is beginning repairs to the inside of the home.

"With the situation that she’s in, like I said we’re just kind of here to help out as much as possible," said John Rust, Restoration 1 of Central Denver Owner.

Workers will inspect the walls and ceiling for any signs of mold. If anything is found they will mitigate the mold, then repair the water damage.

Viewers also donated money to McNamara through the Contact7 Gives fund. Those donations were used to purchase $500 worth of Amazon gift cards to help her out with groceries and other household items.

"That is a huge blessing, I have a lot of health-related things that I’ve basically had to go in debt to take care of those expenses so it’s huge, just huge," said McNamara.
