COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The driver of a truck who didn't stop for a light hit another vehicle and died, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The crash happened Tuesday afternoon near Cheyenne Road and Mount Washington Avenue.

Police said a red Chevy truck driving westbound on Cheyenne Road failed to stop at the traffic light causing a chain reaction crash. The Chevy truck hit a Dodge sedan and the Dodge sedan hit a Buick sedan.

"The driver of the red truck was transported to the hospital where he died," Colorado Springs Police wrote on their website.

Police did not say if the other two drivers were injured. They did say the Major Accident Unit is investigating the crash.
