An online shop focused on positive-energy goods is selling bracelets to memorialize Shanann Watts and her children, and raise funds for their grieving family.
Watts’s husband is accused of killing the mother and daughters in Frederick.
One of Watts’s business associates and a friend of the Soul Energy Shop came together to sell the bracelets, which were designed to memorialize and honor Watts, her unborn son, and her two daughters, Bella and Celeste.
Each bracelet is custom-made to size — buyers can pick sizing from a chart — and costs $40. Half of the money will go to Watts’s family to help pay for funeral services, meals and travel. To buy one, click here.
According to the shop, each bracelet features black tourmaline, known as a stone of protection that absorbs negative energy and transmutes it back into positive energy. It also features angel wings and a silver Tibetan-style closure bead. Other stones include rose quartz, which is the stone of unconditional love and acceptance, amethyst, which is another stone of protection, peace, patience, understanding and the color of lupus awareness, carnelian, which is a stone of passion, confidence, creativity and sacred protection and white Howlite, a stone of peace, according to the shop.
The bracelets are elastic, with premium, high-grade natural crystal stones. A prayer is said over each one before it is packaged. Shipping is included in the continental United States. Each bracelet comes with a description of the stones and a recommendation of where to post images of the bracelet with a blessing or memory of Watts or her family with the hashtag #SoulEnergyWatts.
The website posted that bead and charm size may change according to what is in stock because the shop is “overwhelmed in the most beautiful way with very high demand of your support in orders.”
