It's that time of year again - time to get a flu shot.
Free flu shots:
Two ER's are offering free flu shots. Northwest ER and Northeast ER are offering free flu shots on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in October, while supplies last. Call your location before you go.
South Metro Fire Rescue and DispatchHealth will offer a free flu clinic for the public on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9 to 11 a.m. The clinic is in the community room at South Metro Fire Rescue’s station 34 on 8871 Maximus Drive in Lone Tree. Shots are available for adults and children ages 4 and older. No appointments are necessary.

AFC Urgent Care
AFC (American Family Care) Urgent Care is offering Debbie's Deals' readers flu shots for $15. The offer is available at the Denver East and Cherry Creek locations. You must print this website out to get the $15 special. Thank you to Shideh Kerman for offering this special.
If you're a Costco member, the Costco pharmacy has flu shots for $14.99. Shots are available during pharmacy hours. Learn more on Costco's website.
ZipClinic Urgent Care
Flu shots are $15 at ZipClinic Urgent Care (formerly Guardian Urgent Care). Guardian has three locations in the Denver metro area -- Denver, Westminster and Aurora.
Rocky Mountain Urgent Care is offering flu shots for $30. The company has nine locations in the Denver metro area -- Aurora, Boulder, Centennial, Commerce City, Englewood, Lakewood, Longmont, Lowry (Denver) and Westminster.
The pharmacist at King Soopers specifically said the price varies based on which flu shot you want. The traditional trivalent flu shot is $30 and the quadrivalent flu shot is $40. There is $0 copay on most insurance plans, including United Healthcare, Aetna and more. No appointment necessary.
At Walgreens, flu shots are $31.99.
Safeway is charging $38.99 for the quadrivalent flu shot. (The high-dose, fluzone, is $74.99.)
