On Monday, we mark Memorial Day, a day to remember those who died serving our country.
Several business are offering sales and deals on Memorial Day. Please read each offer carefully. Some are for Monday, some are valid all weekend. Some of the deals are valid for everyone, some are just for the military.
Let's start with the deals for the military:
McCormick & Schmick's

LaMar's is offering active duty military and retired service men and women a free donut and coffee on Monday. No purchase necessary.
Hooters
Active duty and veterans eat free with the purchase of a drink at Hooters on Monday. Free menu items vary by location. Dine-in only.
Mimi's Cafe
Mimi’s is offering veterans – active duty and retired military – a free entrée on holidays beginning with Memorial Day weekend through Veterans Day weekend by signing up at http://www.mimiscafé.com/eclub.aspx. Thanks to Tom for this deal.
Veterans deal at JCPenney
Current and former military personnel, and their immediate family members, get a 5 percent discount from May 25-30 at JCPenney. Officials at JCPenney said, "The discount can be combined with additional coupons and special offers." Thanks to Kate for this tip.
Metro Express Car Wash
Metro Express Car Wash is offering FREE car washes to veterans and current military service personnel on Memorial Day from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Washes will be given rain or shine at Metro Express Car Wash, 4095 S Santa Fe Dr (Santa Fe @ Oxford) in Sheridan. Thanks to Mike for this tip.
