DENVER – People across the nation are flocking to the western United States this summer and Colorado is among the preferred states for tourists to visit, according to a newly released report by TripAdvisor.

The travel website named the 25 trendiest U.S. attractions this season in their 2017 Season Attractions Trend Index report, and the state of Colorado has four places people are really interested in visiting this year.

1. Seven Falls

In the Top 5 of this list, you can find Seven Falls, located in Colorado Springs. Tourists and Coloradans alike can bask in the geological wonder of seven distinct falls cascading down between steep canyon walks. You can walk up 224 steps alongside the falls or ride the in-mountain elevator to the Eagle’s Nest, offering breathtaking views of the falls, reports Colorado.com

2. Pikes Peak

At No. 7 comes Pikes Peak. Those unfamiliar with Pikes Peak have several options to experience the 14er’s soaring heights. Take a drive up the windy highway, enjoy a ride on the cog railway, hike its gorgeous trails or get some good photos from Garden of the Gods.

3. Garden of the Gods

Still in the Top 10 and coming in at No. 9 is Garden of the Gods, also located in Colorado Springs. There’s plenty to do here including hiking and walking the Garden, camping, Jeep and Segway tours, horseback riding and a bunch of photo opportunities for those hoping to share their adventures with friends and family.

4. Denver Botanic Gardens

Finally, coming in at No. 24, is the Denver Botanic Gardens. Spanning an urban oasis of 24 acres, the Gardens are home to native, exotic and xeric plants. The Gardens also feature yearly artwork by renowned artists and a tropical rainforest. The Mordecai Children’s Garden is a great place for kids to learn and play.
