DENVER – If you were at the kick-off parade for the 113th National Western Stock Show, you probably saw more than just cattle.
Among the many animals making the trek in downtown Denver was one of our own Denver7 team members: Zero the dog.
Zero is part of the Canine Companions for Independence, a nonprofit organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support for people who may need it.
He is currently being trained as an assistance dog and we love having him around the newsroom.
