DENVER – It’s not just sci-fi movie fans who are getting excited about the premiere of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” this weekend. Denver’s pop-up bar scene is also going intergalactic.

Lime: An American Cantina and Tequila Bar, located across the United Artists Pavilions movie theater on the 16th St. Mall at 500 16th Street, will be known for a short while as the “First Order Cantina” – a reference to the military dictatorship that arose from the ashes following the destruction of the Galactic Empire in the Star Wars franchise.

The bar revamped its cocktail menu and is offering a variety of Star Wars-inspired drinks (such as a Snoke Supreme or the Mighty Hoka Margarita) and small bites and sharing plates (the Canyon Krayt Dragon Tacos, Geejaw Wings that are said to be imported from Endor and Hoska sliders from the planet Essowyn).

Did we mention you can also enjoy some blue milk while nibbling on a plate of Bantha balls?

A spokesperson for the bar said patrons are encouraged to come dressed in Star Wars costume, but it’s not a requirement.

Because the First Order Cantina will only be here for a limited time, you are encouraged to make reservations (walk-ins are welcome, however).

The bar will be hosting daily events and parties through Dec. 24. The First Order Cantina is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
