COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- Whether you're looking for new items, used items, food, entertainment, or something in between, Mile High Flea Market has it all.

"It's a garage sale, inside of a farmers market, inside of an amusement park," says Jessica Jeffers, Director of Marketing at Mile High Flea Market. "You can shop through thousands of vendors and be like, 'I don't need anything!' and you're going to find that one thing you just absolutely can't live without."

Opened in 1976, the Flea Market went from people selling out of the trunks of their cars to an 80-acre open space market with over a thousand vendors, 26 food stands and carnival rides.

"My dad actually used to sell produce. My dad's a farmer out in Fort Morgan, and he'd bring up his sweet corn and sell it out of the back of his pick-up," recalls Jeffers, who used to come to the Flea Market with her dad as a kid. "We hear stories all the time about people who grew up coming to the Flea Market, and they continue to come and they bring their kids now."
