This week’s recipe is for Black Friday Nachos.
Cooked, diced dark meat turkey
Tomatillo salsa/salsa verde
4 ounces of Brie cheese with the rind removed
1/4 cup diced onion
1-2 tablespoons of flour
½ cup heavy cream
Fry the turkey meat in oil or butter until it has nice caramelization
Add tomatillo salsa/salsa verde to turkey meat and set aside
Add roasted jalapeno and lime to cranberry sauce to taste.
Warm up the mashed potatoes and stuffing.
For the Brie cheese sauce:
Sauté diced onion in butter, once translucent and add flour and make a roux. Add cream then add cheese, continuing to whisk until smooth. Once cheese melts, it is ready to serve.
To assemble nachos:
Buy a nice bag of your favorite chips, add the warm mashed potatoes and stuffing. Top with hot turkey and cranberry sauce, then finish off with Brie cheese sauce on top
