1. Arc Thrift Store’s “Born to Be Me” fundraiser gala

What: Denver7 is proud to be the media sponsor for Arc Thrift Store's "Born to Be Me" fundraiser gala. The theme of this year’s Gala is “A Celebration of the Human Spirit.” Arc will be recognizing three of its employees as "heroes of the year."

When: Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.

Where: Hyatt Regency Tech Center, 7800 E. Tufts Avenue, Denver

Admission: Individual tickets are $150, with a discounted rate for young professionals of $75.

2. Colorado Bennett Days Festival

What: Enjoy a whole weekend of food, fun and music at the Coloraod Bennett Days Festival. There will be open volleyball, a parade, vendor street fair, beer garden, barbecue cook-off and more. This year’s theme is “Lookin' Up!”

When: Friday, Sept. 8 to Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017; Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

3. Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival 

What: Get ready to hear the best in Celtic Music, and all new 2017 Tattoo Estes, jousting Irish and Highland Dance, a parade, dogs and fun for the entire weekend for thee 41st annual 2017 Longs Speak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival.

When: Friday, Sept. 8 through Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017

Where: Estes Park, Colorado

4. Colorado Fall Home Show

What: The Colorado Convention Center will host the 2017 Colorado Fall Show this weekend! Head there for remodeling ideas, rebuilding tips and for renewing your home with the latest fall season has to offer this year. There will over 250 exhibitors.

When: Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

5. Mineral, Fossil and Gem Show at Denver Coliseum

6. Boulder’s 14th annual PrideFest at Boulder Central Park

What: The City of Boulder will celebrate its 14 annual PrideFest this weekend to raise awareness of the contributions of the LGBT+ community has in the town and to foster equality as well as respect for all.

When: Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

7. September Splendor in the Rockies

What: Celebrate the changing of the leaves in Gunnison and Crested Butte as the state’s largest display of aspens amazes with the changing colors of the leaves. There are self-guided tours, farmers’ markets, art walks a harvest festival, mountain-bike tours and more.
