Saturday is National Coffee Day (because yes, everything needs its own holiday!) and Denver has landed on WalletHub’s new list of best cities to grab a cup of joe.

In healthy doses, caffeine can contribute to longevity, but drinking a cup of coffee has also become a way of socializing in today’s culture.

But some coffee scenes are stronger than others. WalletHub released new data Tuesday comparing 100 cities across 14 key indicators to determine just how coffee-friendly these places are.

And Denver did fairly well.

Here are the top 15 best-coffee cities:

  1. New York, NY
  2. Seattle, WA,
  3. San Francisco, CA
  4. Portland, OR
  5. Los Angeles, CA
  6. Washington, DC
  7. Chicago, IL
  8. Miami, FL
  9. Boston, MA
  10. San Diego, CA
  11. Denver, CO
  12. Las Vegas, NV
  13. Minneapolis, MN
  14. Philadelphia, PA
  15. Orlando, FL

The data set includes factors like coffee shops, coffee houses and cafes per capita, and the average price per pack of coffee.

In addition, the study listed Aurora as the No. 1 city in the United States to grab a cappuccino for the lowest price.

Read the whole study here. And if you want to read through it at a coffeehouse Saturday, here’s how you can get a discounted, or even free, cup of coffee.
