1. The Color Run 5k Denver

What: BOOM! POW! WOW! The Color Run Hero Tour is stopping in the Denver metro this weekend. This year’s tour features an all-new Color Runner kit, epic course elements, and a super-charged Finish Festival, which you don’t want to miss out.

Kenny Chesney will be at the Broncos Stadium at Mile High this Saturday for one night only, so you won't want to miss this opportunity to see him live. 3. America's Beer Festival 

What: Are you ready to get your Red, White, and Brew on? If you love beer and love America, then there is only one place to be on Saturday June 30: America's Beer Fest! 4. Machine Fest

What: Like robots? How about metal music? You can celebrate both in Wellington this weeked at Machinefest. There will be live robot performances of fire breathing, metal crushing robots by Machinewerx. There will also be a live music performance by legendary machine rockers 16VOLT  with musical guests Society Burning.

5. The Book of Mormon at The Ellie Caulkins Opera House

What: One of the most highly acclaimed Broadway musicals of the decade is back in Denver due to popular demand! The musical comedy tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries who travel to Uganda to spread the teachings of their religion. The play, which had its first stage performance in 2011, mocks various Mormon beliefs and practices.

6. Family Day at Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys

What: On the first Sunday of every month, the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls & Toys holds a Family Day for all metro area families. Exhibits include giant teddy bears, Japanese dolls, fully furnished miniature houses, miniature trains, planes and cars, a miniature circus, antique dolls and so much more.

7. Four Seasons Farmers and Artisans Market
