1. Experience some art during the First Fridays Art Walk
What: Come and enjoy the local art scene at Denver’s five art districts: Arts District Santa Fe, Golden Triangle Museum District, the Tennyson Street Cultural District and the RiNo Arts District.
Where: Denver Arts Districts (several locations)
When: Monthly on the first Friday of every month, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

2. Enjoy a free day at the Denver Art Museum this weekend
What: Enjoy free admission to the Denver Art Museum. Note that special exhibitions will require a ticketed admission.
Where: Denver Art Museum, 100 W. 14th Avenue Parkway, Denver, Colo.
When: Saturday, Jan. 5 from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

3. Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Denver
What: The largest celebration in the area welcomes you to celebrate the Chinese New Year this weekend. Experience Chinese culture through cultural displays, entertainment including music, artworks, crafts, calligraphy, traditional costumes, children’s games and much more.

When: Saturday, Feb. 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Admission: Free if you’re visiting the Cultural Fair, Taste of China and Marketplace; $25 if you’re looking to go to the Celebration Show from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The show features acrobats, magic, dance, opera, music, martial arts and a children’s choir

4. Planning a vacation this year? You might want to check out the AAA Travel Vacations Showcase
What: If you’re planning a vacation soon, you might want to head over to the Travel Vacations Showcase at Mile High Stadium. From packing tips to polar expeditions, you’ll get a chance to learn about different travel companies and go beyond travel guide books with dozens of presentations spread throughout the event.

When: Friday, Feb. 1 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

5. Bike lovers, head to the National Western Stock Show
What: The Colorado Motorcycle Expo, one of the largest motorcycle events in the country, is several motorcycle events rolled into one great weekend. Best of all? Everything is included in the purchase of one ticket. There will be about 800 booths (the largest indoor motorcycle swap meet), a huge bike show featuring about 100 exquisite vintage bikes and top of the line customs, live music, and much more.

When: Saturday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

6. Experience the best of Denver Fashion Week’s 10-year history at the McNichols building
What: If you’ve already seen Dior: From Paris to the World at the Denver Art Museum, but you still want to see even more fashion, then head to the Best of Denver Fashion Week exhibit in downtown Denver this weekend. Featured fashion photography will take you behind the scenes of multiple memorable runway shows, whereas exclusive local designs will be showcased through unique installations.

7. Watch “Black Panther” for free across the Denver metro area
What: If you didn’t marvel at Marvel’s “Black Panther” when it came out less than a year ago, we have some good news: You’ll be able to see the movie for free across six different locations throughout the metro area in honor of Black History Month.
