1. Jam out at the Blues and Brews Festival in Telluride
What: Renowned as one of the most scenic and intimate music festivals in the country, Telluride Blues and Brews returns for a 26th year in one of the most known mountain town in the country. The multi-stage celebration showcases an eclectic mix of blues, funk, indie, rock, jam-band, gospel and soul music, accompanied by some of the best craft beer the state has to offer. John Fogerty, Boz Scaggs, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic among other big names will be performing.

2. Celebrate Mexican Independence Day at the Fiesta Mexicana in Henderson
What: Mexicans in Colorado know September is a month to celebrate, and Mile High Flea Market is hosting the party this year: Between lucha libre, breakdancing, live music, mariachi, street tacos and more, there’s tons of way to celebrate Mexican Independence Day this weekend!
