1. Film buffs: The Boulder International Film Festival is here
What: The 16th annual Boulder International Film Festival is bringing films and filmmakers to the City of Boulder for a four-day celebration of the art of cinema. Adding to the BIFF experience are events featuring nationally renowned chefs, filmmaker happy hours, multiple opening night Galas, talented musicians and much more.

2. The Colorado RV, Sports & Travel Show is rolling into Denver
What: The largest RV Show in the Rockies will roll into Denver this weekend! The show will showcase RVs ranging from Class A motor homes to lightweight, easy-to-pull tent trailers, fifth-wheels, travel trailers and truck campers, RV and camper accessories, financing options campgrounds and travel destinations.

When: Friday, March 6 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

3. Love skiing and horse riding? You might want to head to Leadville’s Skijoring competition
What: What sounds cooler than being pulled by a horse at lightning speed while you’re on skis on a main avenue? I’ll wait. Exactly. Competitors will race for cash prizes as they course through gates, jumps and rings during this fun Leadville tradition that has been taking place since 1949! But that’s not all, there will also be Nordic Sprints, a paintball biathlon, downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, sledding, and much more. Note: Registration for those wanting to giddy up and participate takes place Friday at the Elks Lodge.

4. Oprah is bringing her wellness tour to Denver this weekend
What: Oprah is bringing her motivational spirit to Denver with “Oprah’s 2020: Vision Your Life in Focus”

5. If you’d rather stay inside, visit the Denver Art Museum for free Saturday
What: Enjoy free admission to the Denver Art Museum this Saturday! Note that special exhibitions will require a ticketed admission. She is working in conjunction with Weight Watchers Reimagined to offer a full-day of wellness conversations during the nine-city tour.

6. All aboard for the 2020 Rocky Mountain Train Show!

7. Savor a Taste of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs
What: If you love food as much as I do, then you’ll want to head down south to Colorado Springs for the 25th annual Taste of Pikes Peak. With more than 80 local restaurants and vendors, this is the largest all-you-can-eat-and-drink event in southern Colorado, according to organizers.
Where: The Broadmoor (Hall B), 1 Lake Ave. in Colorado Springs, Colo.
When: Sunday, March 8 from noon to 3 p.m.
