1. Experience bluegrass music during WinterWonderGrass at Steamboat Ski Resort
What: If you love bluegrass and can’t wait for the summer to go to a concert, head to the WinterWonderGrass festival, to be held at Steamboat Ski Resort this weekend! Billy Strings, Margo Price, The Bluegrass Generals and more will be performing. Enjoy beer tastings, beer halls, a coffee bar, a kids’ zone, food trucks, and much more.

5. Travel to Middle Earth for the 2020 Carnivale Parade in Manitou Springs
What: It’s become an annual tradition to march down Manitou Avenue to celebrate Mardi Gras and this year, you’re encouraged to dress as hobbits, faeries, woodland creatures and other “Lord of the Rings”-esque attire for the event, as this year’s theme is Rockey’s Magical Middle Earth! Prizes will be awarded for those who come dressed for the theme.

6. Let the good times roll for the 10th annual Denver Mardi Gras
What: The EXDO Event Center is figuratively turning into Bourbon Street this weekend for Denver’s Mardi Gras festivities. If you’ve been wanting to go all out before Ash Wednesday, what better way to do so than during Mardi Gras? There will be over 60 performers entertaining the crowd, live music, beads (of course), tarot readers, face painters, and burlesque shows. Safe to say this event is 21+. You’re encouraged to come in costume and wear a mask. Gold, purple and green are traditional Mardi Gras colors.

7. Cheer on the Denver Nuggets as they take on Minnesota Timberwolves
