Editor's note: If you're looking for places where you can watch the series finale across Colorado, we have an updated list here.

DENVER – The army of the dead is on the march and the Great War is finally here.

After a long 20-month hiatus, “Game of Thrones” returns to HBO to bring us battles, dragons, (hopefully more Kinvara scenes) and the much-anticipated Clegane Bowl we've been waiting for the past, I don't know, 67 episodes?

Unfortunately, not everyone will have access to an HBO subscription – but luckily for you, these spots across the state will have watch parties so you can cheer, cry, laugh and wonder why you’re putting yourself through the pain of witnessing your favorite characters die on television – all in the camaraderie of fellow "Game of Thrones" fans.

1. Stoney’s Bar & Grill
1111 Lincoln St. – Denver

Stoney’s has been having Game of Thrones watch parties since heaven-knows-when and they’ll revive the annual tradition one last time starting Sunday, growing strong until the end of the series on May 19.

There will be games, trivia, and live music performed by Daenerys and the Targaryens. Did we mention there will also be a special menu plus dragon and “blood” shots?

The band starts playing at 6 p.m.

2. Your Mom’s House
608 E. 13th Ave. – Denver

If your dad screwed you over by canceling the family’s HBO subscription, Your Mom’s House is where you’ll want to be this Sunday.

They will be livestreaming the final season of Game of Thrones “until the Song of Ice and Fire is over!!” You can expect to watch the last season of the hit fantasy show on a large screen projector and other screens scattered inside the venue and hear all the drama, action (not to mention, the violence) with the help of a top-notch audio system.

The free event is 21 and over and starts at 7 p.m.

3. Pride and Swagger
450 E. 17th Ave. – Denver

Betty Swallows will gather all the queendom’s bannermen as Pride & Swagger returns to Westeros for the final season of Game of Thrones. There will be drink specials and bar-style eats, plus a drag show before the main event.

The watch party will happen every Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. through May 19. The event is free of charge.

4. NATIV Hotel Denver
1612 Wazee St. – Denver

NATIV hotel is hosting a Game of Thrones Season 8 viewing party with food inspired from the TV show, including turkey legs, ale, crafts of wine as well as cocktails (or is it oysters, clams and cockles?).

The hotel will show the last two episodes of the last season before the premiere, so be sure to get there by 5 p.m. More info here.

5. Larimer Beer Hall
2012 Larimer Street – Denver

Join the folks over at the Larimer Beer Hall for Ommegang Brewery's rotating beer tap, Game of Thrones Jonny Walker White Walker cocktails, a special limited GOT dinner menu, a costume contest for the best-dressed and a raffle at intermission! DJ five8 will also be in house serving up some good beats starting at 6:30 p.m.

All seating is first come-first serve, so make sure to get there early. The screens go on at 7 p.m.

6. Circus Collective
4459 Jason St. Unit 3 – Denver

The folks over at Circus Collective, located inside Denver Beer Co., are hosting a Game of Thrones watch party in their spacious training facility. They only ask that you bring a snack for the watch party.

We’re still not sure if they’ll be doing it every weekend (or if they’ll have contortionists the likes of which were only seen at Little Finger’s brothel) but if you want to go for the premiere, make sure to be there on Sunday starting at 9 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

7. South Broadway Country Club
2265 S. Broadway – Denver

Join the South Broadway Country Club as they turn their golf simulators into giant screens for the Game of Thrones season 8 premiere! Drink specials start at 7 p.m.

8. Kokopelli Beer Company
8932 Harlan St. – Westminster

If you, for some strange and unimaginable reason, haven’t yet watched Game of Thrones and want to catch up, then head over to Kokopelli Beer Company where the festivities begin at 11 a.m. Why so early? The venue will show all of season 7 starting at 11 a.m., followed by the premiere of the final season at around 8 p.m.

9. The Barrel

For those of you living in the Rocky Mountain version of Winterfell, The Barrel is coming to the rescue.
