LOS ANGELES — The first major Hollywood awards ceremony of the coronavirus pandemic will be broadcast Sunday night on Denver7.
The 72nd Emmy Awards will air live on ABC from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mountain Time. ABC's Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the virtual awards show.
The Emmys announced in June that the awards show would return in September, though it was still unclear how or where the event would be held.
We'll have to wait until Sunday to see how the show mixes in both pre-taped and live moments, but producers sent camera to the 140 nominees so they can take part in the virtual show.
