The Great American Beer Festival opens Thursday evening in Denver - and it promises to be bigger, better and "beerier" than ever.
The GABF added 90,000 square feet of space to the annual event at the Colorado Convention Center and sold an additional 11,000 tickets this year. About 60,000 people are expected to attend the festival between Thursday and Sunday.
"Tasting sessions will offer attendees the opportunity to tour America’s brewing landscape, one ounce at a time, with access to more than 3,500 different beers from over 700 of the nation’s finest breweries," the GABF website states. "The festival allows visitors to taste the largest number and the widest variety of hand-crafted products in the American beer industry."

However, there's no guarantee you'll get to sample the beer you're looking for. Popular brews may be tapped out after a few sessions.
"Occasionally, a brewery will run out of a certain beer," organizers state. "If you miss a beer this year, you will have to remember to try it early the next year!"
